Things is getting so much better! Dad finally bought my birthday gift! Like 4 months after my birthday. I totally love what he got me; not one gift but two...hehehe. Shari so giddy now.

Haven't started studying yet since been out for the whole day now. At Nicki's place now; showing off my new bling bling while offering my help on her assignment about Internet security. Sigh, it's a toughie but at least, I'm able to surf the net. Bloody tired; this weekend will be a blast since cousins are coming over for lunch. Still haven't met up with other friends but I guess they're busy too.

Last day of classes today; I can't believe it. No more waking up early for lectures [I can't wait to wake up early to get to work *pouts*]. Had IM class today; he gave some tips for exams and the case study notes. IM; stands for International Marketing. The case study is about Harry Potter and its marketing activities; branding and so forth. Should be interesting since the rage nowadays is to watch the latest HP movie.

After class, we [me, Evonne and Fiona] headed to photocopying shop to get the extra notes. As usual, the place was packed with students so we decided to just order the notes and collect it later after lunch. I promised mum that I'll be back for lunch but I couldn't resist eating with the girls. We headed back to main block; ate at the usual mamak spot. Talked abit; waiting for time to pass so that we could get the notes. Around 1.30, I drove the girls back to Wisma Help to get the notes. Tough luck, the lady went out for lunch so I had to parked my car at W.Help to wait for the lady to be back. We headed to DSA; just to hang out and wait. Saw Beng there; playing snooker. Evonne said he looked so happy; I said good that he's playing with the guys :)

Around 2.30, the lady finally was there. Left the girls at Bangsar LRT Station. Went home. Told mum that I'll eat in the evening; even though I know I barely can eat anything else! Was pretty moody; coz of PMS. Then, someone called me. He was pretty nervous [as usual] but cute in a way. Yes, I'm being mushy right now. He called to check on me and all; then he forgot to tell me the real reason he called in the first place! We hang up after 3 minutes on the phone; I was still curious why he called. At that time, I didn't know what he did to surprise me.

Had dinner with the folks. Surfing online to check out stuff on Harry Potter. Then, while checking my mail, I noticed that he sent me an e-mail. It goes:

"....sorry for not calling you for some time now...the last exam was a killer.so i was to avoid *distractions* if i wanna make the grades. I hope you'll forgive me............"

He wrote more but hmmm, some things are better left unknown! Weird, I was angry at him coz no news from him; for almost a month now. But he has his reasons for not calling. Well, we just have to wait and see how things goes *fingers crossed*

Finally no more assignments to do. Exams are coming soon..in two weeks time.

Tomorrow is Fiona's birthday. Planning to take her out for lunch; since I'm really bad at picking out gifts for people. Speaking of gifts, I'm also planning to get gifts for friends whom had helped me out with my final year project. Friends, you know who you are. I'm not that rich to buy expensive stuffs but it's the meaning behind the gifts that counts :)

I've noticed that some of my girlfriends are depressed lately. No idea how to cheer them up. I guess this Friday's outing should cheer them up. No boys allowed; which is good since it's been awhile since we all hang out with one another. I still need to meet up with Kavin and Mark. Both of whom I haven't seen in ages!! Miss both of you guys!

Tim is planning to come back to KL for New Year's while Em is coming back in a few days. Can't wait for both of them to be back; smiles. Aqif is right now annoying me with his cheeky face. I better go before he destroys my books.

Eating equals to me gaining weight
Gaining weight equals to me buying new clothes
New clothes equals to me being broke

Enough said.

Feeling exhausted after whole night of typing the marketing assignment. I can't complain though, coz its a group assignment so I'm only doing 2 parts of the assignment. My luck is bad coz I had to do the financial part of it...those who know me well enough would laugh at the sight of me calculating budgets and all. YES, I have a deep hatred for numbers!

Anyway, my right eye is getting better. No idea why its swollen though. Fi and Von thinks I'm peeping someone. "Peeping Shari" All I have to do now is write me thesis, meet up with friends and improve my financial status. I'm so broke...so I find it hard to go out since I have no $$ to spend. Speaking of going out, I have to get ready now. Going to Aunt's house [in Kajang], having lunch at her place. Can't wait to meet up with cousins...plus their kids. Can't believe I have so many nieces and nephews now. Feeling old.

Friday's Royal Gala [college prom] was amazing. Its been awhile since I got dolled up. I would love to attend another event like that, but too bad..nothing interesting is coming up anytime soon. Around 2, Fiona and I got our hair done. Went back to her place to shower, get dressed, and put on makeup. Got a cab and left to head over to the hotel.

Me and Fiona were the earliest "couple" to arrived..KL traffic is so unpredictable! I thought it would be really bad but alas, it was bearable. Waited for friends to come. Determined to mingle around...trying my best not to be anti-social that night. It worked :)

Food was good but hardly ate. My dress size limited my eating habits. Me, Fiona and Evonne shared a table with our classmates. The guys were really polite that night. It was the girls that made noise. We got crazy with our cameras..I took pictures with almost everyone in my class. Ahh...memories to ponder upon when I'm old[er].

Highlight for the night: I was best dressed female. The hassle of getting that dress made paid off in the end..even though the payment was little [the prize was RM50]. Little did anyone know that I hardly could breathe, eat and walk in that dress.

After the gala ended and the dancing began, we took more photos. Headed over to Zouk for drinks. It was Nick's birthday. Stayed there until 1.30am. Alex came and picked us up. He was nice enough to drive the Volvo instead of Satria. I can't imagined sitting in a Satria with my dress..I could barely move. Being ladylike has its disadvantages. Fiona and Alex hang for awhile at Evonne's house. Poor guy was barely awake. They left around 2am. Slept over at Evonne's house. I fell asleep around 3.30am. Around 4.30am, someone called..no idea who. I hate getting calls from private numbers coz I never know who to expect on the other line.

Back to normal Shari

In the morning, Beng picked me and Evonne up. He sent me home first and Evonne after that. My weekend was amazing. Good times with people that I cared about.

2 more assignments to write. I think I'm gaining weight; keep on eating and eating. Got the dress today; can't complain much. I'm just happy it got done on time. Everything's all set for this Friday. Sleeping over at Evonne's house this Friday. Can't wait for some female bonding.

Been spending too much time with Brian since he's back in town. He's leaving next Sunday *pouts* I'm kinda broke even though I got alot of duit raya. Spent it all on petrol, car maintenance and food. Sigh, I'm not even working yet! I'm tired and moody, damn period!
