Sunday, 24 April 2006. Graduation day. Woke up feeling excited..strangely nervous!

While taking a shower that very morning, it finally came to me that my educational phase of my life is sort-of-over [I believe learning is a "tru-out-ur-life" progress though]. Around 11am, I was already at the Shangri-la Hotel with the folks.

Waited for Evonne to arrive so that we could put on our robes. Imagine around 7 girls in the loo trying to put on make-up, get robed and so forth...yeah there were alot of them! Never seen so many people dressed in formal clothes in my life before!

Took photos like mad; had to leeched on friends' cameras since mine was with my daddy. So friends, please e-mail me the photos [if possible]. Left friends to have lunch with the folks. Around 2 something, the ceremony finally started.

Stuffing myself!

The overall ceremony was dull but I just hanged in there; out of respect. Took photos again; this time with the whole family together. Bro and sis came for support; thanks! Sis got me flowers *blush* Thanks to Lee, Em and Tim for sending me flowers; even though you all are in other countries..I hate to say this but the flowers arrived 3 days prior to the Big Day. Thanks anyway.
Thanks for all the gifts I've gotten. Remind me never to ask for anymore bags!! I have a few new ones already. Off to take more silly photos of myself and Aqif.

Finally!!!!!!!!

Been awhile since I’ve blogged or even log online. Why? Well, it all happened on 6th April. The day I was in a car accident.

It happened around 11.55am that day; on my way from home to pick up Aqif at his kindergarten. Since the traffic light had turned red, I stopped my car at the very busy junction. While waiting for my turn to go, I was busy singing to a song on the radio and making a fuss about how the car is low on fuel! The light turned green; so I hit on the gas since it’s my turn to go. Next thing I know a huge trailer [the ones that carries cargo] was heading towards my way. The trailer was in the wrong as it was beating the red traffic light. It crashed into my side [driver’s side] of my car. My car was then dragged for 10 meters meanwhile hitting another car [a Kancil]. My car only stopped when it hit the road divider…luckily the car didn’t flip over. The moment the car stopped; I just sat in the car and cried. The shock….the amazing feeling of “thank god I’m still alive”. I felt thankful and scared at the same time. Moments later, some people helped. I called my family for help; couldn’t get dad on the phone since he left his mobile phone at home. Brother-in-law was the first one to arrive at the scene. He took me to the hospital since I had cuts on the body and I couldn’t move my right arm. Had X-ray done, and ultra-sound done. Everything was ok except for some cuts, bruises and the arm. After that, made a police report.

The guy in the trailer confessed that it was his fault. He said he knew he would hit my car and he knew that his brakes were faulty. How irresponsible can someone be?!? I could have been killed due to his carelessness and one of his friends dare to tell to me “Tak apa, sikit saja!”

Enough said about that. I’m ok; arm is healing, bruises still there. Cuts are gone. Car is still in workshop. Another 2 or 3 months for it to be repaired. The cost for repairing the car is over RM15, 000. Thank god for insurance. Just thankful I’m still here; enjoying life.

Brother’s wedding reception is finally over with. It was a blast. Tiring but exciting. I am getting along quite well with my new sis-in-law. I thought of calling her “Kakak” as a way of respecting her since she is married to my older brother but I decided not to and it’s better to bond as friends.

Convocation will be held this Sunday... FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Another weekend at home; so far my allergies are gone [thank god for that]. Spent the whole morning as well as lunch time cleaning up the house; my body is aching right now.

Amazingly, dad hasn't been pressuring me to be employed but my friends are kind of getting on my nerves about it. It's not like I'm not looking. I probably should have taken that job but the idea of moving to another country is not something I wish for; even though it's still within Asia. Tough luck, I guess.

My allergies came back *pouts* No idea why. Bloody doc was pretty useless..instead he scolded me for eating. If I knew what makes my skin break out into red spots...I WON'T eat it, duh!

I'm finally making an effort to look for a job; it started with 2 separate conversations with 2 different friends. They basically got me motivated. Today was a pretty hectic day. Woke up, took medicine, got ready for "something". I totally made an idiot of myself; in front of someone. Seriously, lessons learnt today is never have a VERY formal talk with one of my best friends and never talk to someone while I'm high on medication; which I did today which made me into a laughing fool.

Finally, time to blog.

I've been sick for the past 2 weeks [AGAIN]. First it was the flu, next comes the allergies. Last Sunday, Doctor suggested that I should opt for an injection for the allergies; so I took his advice..two shots [on the butt, mind you!] The rashes were gone after two hours which was good coz the gang were coming over for a farewell dinner. Can't believe they're leaving tonight. Lee and Em will be taking their flight together while Tim is leaving with his mum due to certain family matters. I'm glad they were in KL for a long visit; we've took time to settle certain issues that cause our friendship to drift apart. Em still thinks I'm as crazy as ever but somehow Tim thinks I'm growing up..no longer behaving like I used to. Thank god for that :)

Met up with Evonne yesterday. Miss the girls and Beng. Went to college to settle some stuff concerning the convocation. Then, had lunch with her in Midvalley. Talked alot and mostly, she did the shopping. I had to make sure that I didn't spend any money..even though, I was on the urge to spend. I'm sorry if I offended any of my friends by not spending time with them. The reason for it.....is I'm sick, busy with bro's wedding and the NEED to SAVE $$$$$$. Enuff said. Once in awhile, I don't mind hanging out but it depends with whom and where.

The house is still undergoing minor renovations. Thus, me being very busy cleaning the mess. Actually, dad did asked me to help earlier...so I'm off to help *sigh*

The reasons for not updating my blog:

My grandma passed away last Sunday [around 1.30am, in her sleep]. So I'm pretty busy [and tired] for all the things which had to be done. I'm sorry for being moody [those who called me throughout this week would testify to my "moody-ness"].

I've been sick AGAIN for the last 3 weeks. God knows why!

Finally some good news. I passed all my exams. Convo will be held in April. Now just need to worry about how good/bad my results were!

Finally! Sorry for the lack of updates. Been busy..actually, my computer went crazy last week.

First, it crashed. Luckily, dad extended the warranty of the PC so I was able to get a replacement for the hard disc. I had to call the customer service dept to make sure that my warranty is still valid coz I lost the invoice and all when we moved to this house. I have to say that the lady who took my call was quite snobbish and rude. She told me to call the technical support dept instead since my warranty is still valid.

I called the tech. guys; the guy was very helpful. The next day, a technician was at my house to fix the PC. Of course, I had to reinstall everything; which is a very slow process since most of the cds that was needed to reinstall the softwares were missing. So, I had to download most of it from the Net *pouts*.

The next day, I got another error message on the PC. Seems like this time, it can't detect my sound card [something like that]. I called up the tech guy again; he assured me that he'll get the same technician to fix my problems. But later that day, I fixed my own problems. So now, my beloved PC is fine. The tech guy called again yesterday to make sure everything was ok. How nice; good to know that some companies in Malaysia do take care of their customers.
