Still writing my report. Wrote about 145 words by this morning. Wanted to chat online with Em and Lee but my Messenger keeps hanging; decided to re-download it.

Yesterday, I didn't do much shopping. Mum and sis bought alot. I'll probably shop on Wednesday for shoes. Sameir will be spending raya with us this year. Actually, I don't have much to write. I'm PMSing right now, I miss my friends. I want to eat cookies but no chance since I'm fasting. Hopefully I've lost weight.

Happy Deepavali and Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri to all my friends. Take care and love u guys/girls.

Few more days to Raya. Which means I got almost a week to finsh up my second assignment, a week to get my dress and 2 more weeks for Prom. Can't wait to blow off some steam. Suppose to be out today with friends but I decided to get my priorities right this tiime. I managed to clean my room; just in case relatives wanna sleep for Raya.

I managed to do my laundry and surprisingly, cooked for my family. Nothing special though, just pasta. For a Malay, I have no clue how to cook anything Malay-ness [I know there's no word like that]. Mum tries to teach me but seriously, I don't see myself cooking anytime soon. Currently, I'm a Kitchen Snob. LOL

Tomorrow, around 8.30am I'm going shopping. Well, actually my sis and mum are..I'm just tagging along, just in case I see anything I like. Tomorrow, I'm also going to the airport coz Brian and his son will be in KL for a visit. Can't wait to see them. I better get my eyes back on the assignment; I really hate Marketing class....just the lecturer actually! My Raya is ruined because of the assignment. Damn it!

Finally, I got some work done on my assignment. Its a 2500-words assignment on Japan. I've been reading for the past whole week about Japan and the current government. So, I can proudly say that I've learnt something this weekend *smiles*

Looking forward for Raya. Can't wait to get $ and some time off from studying!! This year would be my last year to collect duit raya *pouts* coz hopefully by next year, I'll be working and earning my own cash. The Cameron Highlands trip isn't happening coz the hotel we wanted is already fully booked. The good news is that since my granny's house in Penang will be packed with relatives for Raya, dad decided to stay in a hotel instead. I'm so happy since I don't have to share rooms with anyone like at granny's house.

Oh yeah, this morning..I got a prank call. The call went like this:
Me: Hello?
The caller: Can I speak to Ms. Shari...pls?
Me: Yes speaking.
T.C: I'm calling from college. I was wondering if u can come to college tomorrow for a talk.
Me: What talk would that be?
T.C: The talk would be on Safe Sex.
Me [still clueless]: Huh? I have classes tomorrow. What time is the talk?
T.C: Can u come? Can u call your friends, Fiona and Evonne also? [The caller was laughing at this point].

Me: Huh?
T.C: It's Fiona here...hehehhehe.

Yes I got dooped by my own friends, Evonne and Fiona!!

Condolence to the First Family for their loss. I learnt about it yesterday while driving home from college. Was shocked to hear about it on the radio since I always imagined the First Lady would overcome her battle with cancer.

Well, let's just hope for better things now.

I got a very unexpected phone call today from an old friend. The last time we met or spoken to each other is when we were 12 years old. We parted in quite a bad way. I regret the way we lost contact and the lack of effort in keeping a friendship work. We exchanged home addresses and so on. I'm looking forward in meeting up with her. and a few other friends. Sweet memories.

Anyway, my dress-hunting days are over. On Thursday [after a week of finding a dress], Fiona and myself decided to have our dresses tailor-made; saving time and effort to find a dress. Since Evonne got her dress made earlier this year, we decided to pay a visit to her tailor since my tailor is busy with Hari Raya orders and all. After Thursday's classes, I drove to Sri Petaling with Fiona. It was pretty easy to find the tailor's shop but the process of finding a parking space was "my-god" that bad. After showing our designs, the tailor gave some input on what would look good on us. So I decided on this long gown design. Hard to describe it; hopefully it turns out good. The cost to make the dress made me go over my budget by RM10 which is ok. I even get to pick my own fabric since I thought it would be cheaper.

After seeing the tailor, I parked my car at Bukit Jalil LRT Station to head over to Jalan TAR to get the fabrics. Fiona came along; I joked that for someone who is fasting [which is me], I sure had alot of energy to walk alot. After finding and buying the stuff we wanted for the dresses, we both took our trains separately. I was suppose to give the fabrics to the tailor on Saturday but I thought I might as well give it to her that same day. So from LRT station, I drove back to Sri Petaling to hand in the fabrics. As my friends would say, "It's worth every penny to get something u want". The dress would be ready a week before the prom. By that time, I'll be getting my duit raya so I can splurge on accessories like shoes.

For Raya, sis suggested that we go back to Penang [to visit granny] on the second day of Raya. After that, a trip to Cameron Highlands.

Reminder to self: book 3 hotel rooms tomorrow for that trip!

Neglecting my blog as always. I've been busy.. looking around for a prom dress, went back to Penang, met up with friends and Uncle over there and plenty of eating. Its the fasting month right now; but I have yet to fast. I can't believe my dumb luck that I got my period on the first day of fasting till now. I'll probably gain weight instead of losing some this month.

I'm pretty tired from the Penang trip even though, I did nothing except hang out with friends or sleeping in the hotel room. Yup, dad decided to stay in a hotel instead of our usual place, granny's house. Which is fine with me. Left for Penang on Friday after picking up Aqif from his kindergarden. Took the ferry ride to the Island. Did some shopping. Friends took me to the Garage. Had dinner with Uncle. Left Penang yesterday afternoon.

Today, I'm avoiding the urge to go out with friends. Too tired and its bloody hot outside. This comment coming from a person who's not fasting!!! Anyway, happy fasting.

P/S: anyone knows where to get a prom dress??!!??

KLCC..went there yesterday and today. Yesterday, movie [The Longest Yard] with Mark. Was really happy to see him; told him about this crush I'm having *blush* Did my best not to shop even though Isetan was on sale.

However, the lure of the sale overpowered my desire to save money. Planned to just sit at home and watch TV today. Around noon, sis and her hubby came home early from work. They took half day off. They decided to go shopping at KLCC since I told them about the sale y'day. I tried to convinced myself that I should stay at home instead of tagging along. But I couldn't resist plus there was nothing good on Astro anyway. Aqif was excited to go out finally. In the end, sis got pair of shoes and some stuff, her hubby bought jeans, Aqif...let's just say, that he got his wardrobe updated for Raya and toys to go along with it. I bought a handbag; which sis is trying to buy from me..no way I'm selling it to her. So, I technically broke my vow of not shopping anymore this year! Who cares! The bag was dirt cheap even though it's a designer. Overall, I'm happy today.
